Youth/Teen Ministry
The goal of the student ministry at CBC is to connect students with other Christians, to help grow them in their faith, to equip them for ministry, and challenge them to honor God with their lives; while bringing other non-believing teenagers to know Christ.
This is accomplished through:
- Regular Meetings – CHOSEN Youth meet Sunday evenings at 6:00 for fun, fellowship, and Bible Study
- Special Events – Watch the calendar for news of our monthly special events. These are great opportunities to bring out a friend!
- Evangelism – Youth are encouraged to participate in monthly door-to-door and open air evangelism
- Ministry – Opportunities to help in church ministries include choir, nursery, Video / TV, Sound, and assisting church events

CHOSEN Highschool Youth is led by Jonathan Compton. Jonathan and his wife, Sarah, are graduates of Appalachian Bible College where Jonathan studied youth ministries and camping. The Comptons have two children and they enjoy camping, fishing, and other out door activities.
CHOSEN Middleschool Youth is led by Daniel Walker. Danielle is a graduate of Oak Brook College of Law in California. After moving to Charleston in 2004, she has volunteered to help with childrens and teen ministries at CBC. Danielle enjoys music, yard work, and spending time with the teens and their families.
