Evangelism
Our mission statement declares the "We exist to glorify God by bringing sinners to Christ and saints to Christ-likeness." In effort to fulfill the first part of this high calling, we seek to have a fully involved evangelism ministry. We seek to be a part of what God is doing in bringing sinners to His Son!
Door to Door
Once a month on Sunday afternoons, we minister from "Door to Door" in the communities surrounding our church. We seek to politely ask our neighbors where they are in their spiritual walk. We have set about this task purposely, mapping our where we have been so as to reach as many as possible. Afterwards, we come together to discuss our conversations and to pray for those with whom we talked.
Training
Evangelism training is accomplished in three main ways. First, Sunday School classes on evangelism are regularly taught. Second, members have attended various events such as Way of the Master training. Third, there is nothing like the "on-the-job" training that one can get by merely coming out to one of our Door-to-Door.
